Anne is a self taught artist working mainly with
acrylic. She has had a passion for art since
childhood. This flourished while living in Austria,
where she worked as an artist full time producing
typical folk art. This gave her a huge amount of
experience with her painting skills and the use of
different mediums. For the last three years, she
has devoted her time to painting. She enjoys
experimenting with texture and combining this to
her subject. Her inspirations are mainly from her
own surroundings. The enjoyment in seeing an
idea in her mind, being transformed into
something everyone can see is her greatest
motivation. She has been involved with many past
exhibitions in Auckland, Tauranga and
Wellington. Last year, she was awarded second
place in the New Artist Category at the Royal
Easter Show. |
